Concrete wall
Preparation: Make sure the wall is clean, free of dust and oil, and clean it if necessary.
Drilling: Use a drill bit that matches the diameter of the anchor to drill a hole of appropriate depth on the wall. The depth of the hole should be slightly greater than the unfolded length of the anchor to ensure that the anchor can be fully embedded and unfolded.
Installing the anchor: Gently knock the carbon steel drop anchor into the hole until it is fully unfolded and fixed on the wall.
Precautions: Avoid leaving any debris in the hole to avoid affecting the anchor's fixing effect.
Masonry wall
Preparation: Also make sure the wall is clean, free of dust and oil.
Drilling: Use an electric drill or impact drill to drill a hole of appropriate depth and diameter on the masonry wall. Pay attention to controlling the drilling force to avoid damaging the wall.
Installing the anchor: Knock the carbon steel drop anchor into the hole and make sure it is fully unfolded. For harder masonry walls, you may need to use more force or tools to assist in installation.
Note: When drilling holes in masonry walls, be careful not to damage the structural integrity of the wall.
Plasterboard walls
Preparation: Plasterboard walls are fragile and require special care. Make sure the wall is flat and free of cracks.
Positioning and drilling: Use a pencil to mark the installation location of the anchor on the wall and use a small drill bit to drill shallow holes at the marks. Be careful not to drill through the paper on the back of the plasterboard.
Installing anchors: For plasterboard walls, you may need to use special plasterboard anchors or auxiliary parts to enhance the fixing effect. Knock the carbon steel drop anchor (or suitable plasterboard anchor) into the hole and ensure that it is secure.
Note: When installing anchors in plasterboard walls, be careful not to damage the paper or internal structure of the plasterboard.
Hollow brick walls
Preparation: Hollow brick walls have a cavity structure inside, so you need to choose the right anchor type.
Drilling and filling: When drilling holes in hollow brick walls, you may encounter cavities. At this time, you can use materials such as foam fillers or cement mortar to fill the cavity to increase the anchor's fixing force.
Install the anchor: After the filling material is dry, knock the carbon steel drop anchor into the hole and make sure it is fully expanded.
Note: When installing anchors on hollow brick walls, be careful to avoid drilling through the other side of the wall or damaging the wall structure.
