1. Preliminary preparation
Make sure the wall is dry, clean, and free of dust, oil or other impurities. Check the wall for cracks or damage, and repair it if necessary. Select the appropriate Hollow Wall Anchor model and specifications based on the required bearing capacity and wall material. Pay attention to the material of the anchor to ensure that it meets the use environment and safety standards. Prepare necessary installation tools such as electric drills, drill bits, screwdrivers, and hammers. Make sure all tools are in good condition and not damaged or worn.
2. Installation process
Mark the installation position of the anchor on the wall with a pencil or marker. Use a drill bit that matches the diameter of the anchor to drill a hole of appropriate depth at the mark. Pay attention to controlling the drilling force to avoid damaging the wall structure.
Gently knock the Hollow Wall Anchor into the hole, making sure it is flush with the wall.
Use a screwdriver or hammer to knock the tail of the anchor in until it is fully extended and fixed to the wall. After installation, gently shake the anchor to check whether it is firmly fixed.
If there is any looseness, the anchor bolt should be re-fixed or replaced immediately.
3. Safety precautions
Personal protection:
During the installation process, wear necessary personal protective equipment, such as gloves, goggles, etc.
Avoid splashing during drilling or knocking to injure the eyes or skin.
Electrical safety:
If you need to install anchor bolts near power or wires, make sure to turn off the power first and follow electrical safety regulations.
Avoid using metal tools to touch exposed wires or power sockets.
Avoid excessive force:
When knocking anchor bolts, avoid using excessive force to avoid damaging the wall or the anchor bolt itself.
If you encounter difficulties, check the drilling depth, anchor bolt model or seek professional help.
Pay attention to the wall structure:
Before installation, understand the structural characteristics of the wall and avoid drilling holes in load-bearing walls or key structural parts at will.
If you need to install anchor bolts on special walls (such as gypsum board walls, hollow brick walls, etc.), please follow the corresponding installation guidelines.
Keep the work area clean:
During the installation process, keep the work area clean to avoid interference from debris or safety hazards.
After the installation is completed, clean up the site in time and put the tools back in place.
